Our small works team have just completed the renewal of a communal path which serves various properties in Whitechapel.

The exiting tarmac path has failed in various areas meaning that water would also ‘pond’ which proved to be a real pain to the residents.

To rectify this, the existing levels were reduced by removing the top 100mm and then on a new sharp sand bed, the new paving was laid to correct the fall to the existing drain runs and the final section to street level.

The project was completed early and under budget.
